Kogout and Buffet meet in the church where the last statue is located. Kogout hits Buffet with a knife and leaves. Masha appears too late and Buffet dies on her hands. He tells her the address and the place where the first statue is hidden.
Masha declare Oper’s identity. With the help of his evidence she manages to catch Kogout with the treasure. The good name of Chebaturin is restored. But Masha doesn’t want to tell her parents that she knows the truth now, because she loves them very much.
