Private carrier Jet Airways, in association with Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL), facilitated an educational excursion for 35 Thalassemia patients registered with The Wishing Factory on April 11.
The first-ever educational excursion brought the children up close with the experience of life at an airport.
This fun-filled trip included superbly organized initiatives such as a guided tour of on-ground activities such as taxiing aircraft, refuelling, in-flight catering, as well as a personal tour of the cockpit of Jet Airways' biggest Boeing plane!!!
So many of the children registered with us have only dreamed of what the inside of an airport or a runway might look like. A few even dream of flying their own plane someday.
