Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Mortaza has said the turning point of the match was Kedar Jadhav’s introduction into the bowling attack by India. The part-time spinner ended his spell with the ball by taking 2 wickets for 22, and he also took two crucial wickets of two well set batsmen Tamim Iqbal (71) and Mushfiqur Rahim (61).
“We should have put on a bigger total. The way that Tamim and Musfiqur were dismissed by a part-time bowler (Kedar Jadhav), it became difficult for us. When they were at the crease, we were at the top. It could have been easily in the region of 330 or 340 but after the wickets fell, it was always difficult to reach 300,” said Mashrafe at the post match press-conference.
